Birthday Get-a-Way Continued

The Ramada Inn in Creston.  It was built just last year!

The entrance of our room.  The first thing Chris did was hook up the wii.
Justin coming out of the bathroom.
The beautiful bathroom!
Ashleigh's tiger joined us on our adventure.
Justin's alligator chillin' in the corner ;0)

Ashleigh unpacking her suit case, Justin sticking out his tongue and Chris hooking up things so we can start playing Mario-Cart.
There was no pool at this new hotel.  Maybe because it is kind of in the middle of no where?  Anyhoo, we were aware of that, so Chris suggested bringing the wii.  It gave us something to do when there was nothing to watch on t.v.
Here they are racing!  I joined in later.
Yes, we brought our matching pajamas that we all received at Christmas.  The boy's bottoms do match, you just can not tell.
I think this is the only one we got out of the ten that we took where Justin is not making a silly face!
Ashleigh trying really hard to keep her towel in place!  She had a lovely bath.  Her daddy even served her pop in the bath tub!

We picked these up at a little bakery in lieu of cake.  They are strawberry cheese cake squares and were sooooo tasty.

Eating in bed.
Pretending to sleep.  They did well sharing a bed.  Probably the last time we'll be able to do that though.  They just keep growing!  Next time we'll probably ask to have a cot brought up.
The birthday girl who couldn't be happier!
Going down for breakfast the next morning.
There is something about the elevator that makes staying in a hotel so exciting!  The few times we've stayed in a hotel we have stayed on the first floor, which works well for going to and from the pool.  This time there was no pool and we didn't request an upper floor, so I was thrilled that it just worked out that way :0)  It was the second floor.  Little things like that mean a lot to me.
Inside the elevator.
The eating area just off the lobby.  Breakfast was provided.  Chris made us waffles at the waffle station.
The sitting area near the front desk.

Me with my man!
The beautiful drive home.  Oh and look!  Train tracks!  On the drive to Creston, Chris pointed out three of his radio towers!!

Blizzards were on sale at Dairy Queen, so we indulged for the trip back home.

Our new welcome sign.
