We had a Bean Festival!

What is a Bean Festival?


It is when you have:


black beans...

...baked beans...
...bean salad...
...and refried beans in tortilla shells (like a burito).

Yes, we had all of this for suppper ;0)


For dessert, we were supposed to have the tiny jelly beans that come out of this cute little reindeer, but we couldn't find any during our rushed trip to the Grocery Store, so instead had regualar sized jelly beans that were rather hard which made me not want to have more until a little while later, which was then too late because Chris had polished them off! ;0) Just as well...


Our friends Mark and Sarah joined us for our Bean Festival. They don't care for re-fried beans, but did have some bean salad and home made Chicken Fajitas.
