Nancy

Nancy was very special to our family in such that she would be considered our first, and most certainly closest spiritual mentor. We could always count on Nancy to provide us as a couple, or individually, with Godly advice that was scripturaly sound. Nancy was also much more than that. She loved to use the gifts God gave her to bless those that she was close to, such as knitting booties for both of our children and even insisting on making us our wedding cake that she named, "Simple Elegance" as our wedding was just that, simple. She could also be counted on to keep her eyes open for small gifts that weren't much expense, but meant a lot to us. Such gifts were apple trinkets for Caroline and fish ornaments for Chris.

Nancy's influence will certainly remain with us for the rest of our lives and her laughter will never be forgoten.

Nancy was just 52 years old when she passed away and as her daughter said, "Her journey toward heaven was rapid at the end, a short 20 day stay in medical care. Cancer had taken over her physical body and the pain was too much to bear."

We'll sure miss you Nancy...
