And the Wall came tumbling DOWN!

This is the wall (to the right) that divided the hallway and kitchen/dining area. It also contained a pantry (used to be a coat closet).


We took turns smashing down the dry wall. Actually, we didn't do this to all sides of the wall. It was lots of fun, but made more work. This was the first go at it, so we just had to hammer holes. In the other sides that made up the wall, Chris cut nice big pieces out.

Oh, and we also hung sheets up to block the living room (that is the pink one in hanging in the back) hoping to cut down on dust.

We had just this side and the end of the wall done for awhile. Chris needed to figure out the electrical and plan where to re-wire everything, light switches and outlets.




Here we hung up a sheet so not as much dust got over everything in kitchen. Gee we are neat and tidy. In the end, we didn't hang any sheets or plastic, we just wanted to "get 'er done!"
