Our view

June 2008, Chris bought my Grandpa's old truck. He drove it for a weekend and then it sat here in the back yard because it needed some work done on it and it wasn't necessary to insure it for a daily driver as Chris had a company vehicle. This was our view of the back yard until January 9, 2012 when she was towed away to the mechanic shop! Oh happy day!

Friday March 23rd, 2012, it was another HAPPY DAY at our house. Chris' truck, "Doreen", was finally ready to be picked up, so we all piled in "Nellie", the family vehicle (pictured to the left of this picture) and drove to the mechanic shop. Chris, Justin and Ashleigh happily drove her home. Now, this is the view of our driveway. Hurray! Doreen actually looks like a "truck" again, with new tires that do not leak air. She sits pretty in the driveway. Of course, Chris always thought she looked pretty in the back yard, but she was kind of a lawn ornament and one tire didn't keep air, so she kind of slouched as she sat there (although, you can not really tell in the top picture).

This was our view of the back yard on Thursday. Boooooo Snow! Thankfully it didn't last. :0)
