Coloured Carnations Experiment

May 31st - 10:00am. Here we start the experiment of food colouring in different vases with carnation flowers.

The middle vase that is white has no food colouring in it. This is to show what happens if we leave one plain.

May 31st - 3:00pm , approximately 5 hours in to experiemnt- the purple was already starting to appear. The vase was smaller.

June 1st - 12:00pm, The blue started to appear.
June 2nd - 9:30am - We added a few more drops of food colouring to hurry up the process.

June 6th - the red is just starting to appear.

June 10th - the red flowers are a little darker.

The yellow ones were the second to last to change colour. We didn't get a date. Maybe June 11th?

The green ones never did change. Maybe we should have trimmed the stems?
