2007 - The Year of NO THUMB TACKS!

Well Chris finally had it with thumb/map tacks holding EVERYTHING up on our walls...pictures, pot holders, calendars, etc.

Here is a before picture of my "knick-knack" shelf that is above the kitchen sink. It was taken about 3 years ago when we first installed it, so the thumb tack damage (below the shelf, holding up pot holders and scrub brushes)hasn't started yet:



After many months of map tacks falling off every time Chris grabbed for a pot holder, he had ENOUGH! I am very proud to present this (click on picture for a better look at hooks holding up pot holders and scrub brushes):
